Singapore Swimming Proficiency Awards

The Singapore Swimming Proficiency Awards (SSPA) is launched to promote swimming proficiency and provide progression for furthur advancement in swimming after the SwimSafer Programme. This not only helps to increase the level of technical expertise among Singapore swim coaches, but also provides a talent pool for the next generation of Singapore competitive swimmers.
The SSPA test is a challenging certification, which should only be taken when a child is fully ready, both mentally and physically. Without proper training or guidance from an experienced swim coach, disqualification of the swimmer might occur as all strokes that are demonstrated must be in compliance with FINA rules used for competitive swimming.
